German VoD to stream Iranian play ‘Timeloss’

A German Video-on-Demand (VoD) service has scheduled to stream recording of Iranian play ‘Timeloss’.

Directed by Amir-Reza Kouhestani, the play will be streamed online by the Munich Kammerspiele, a state-funded German-language theater company, on April 26.

Produced by Iran’s Mehr Theater Group, the play has been staged in several countries, including Iran, Chile, France, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Italy and Taiwan.

The play tells the story of two former lovers sitting in a room raising an age-old argument they have had so many times that they know it by heart.

Co-starring Hassan Majouni and Mahin Sadri, the production was last performed in February 2019 at the Tehran Independent Theater.
